How Can I Build a Culture of Engagement?
May 24th, 2012 by Jessica GlynnOn Friday May 11, 2012 ForeSite Technologies’ President Michael Giuffrida, along with Paul Decelles and Phyllis Rizy of YardeZone and George Thomson of Filomeno & Company presented at an invitation only seminar for MetroHartford Alliance investors entitled “Building a Culture of Engagement.” The seminar was held in two sessions, both in the MetroHartford Alliance offices.
The event was the first in a series which will feature all three companies. The content of the first program taught attendees how to maximize the potential of each employee and increase engagement. By the end of the interactive session, attendees were able to see how engagement can positively or negatively affect profitability, calculating their own “engagement risk scores”
While the first seminar mainly focused on YardeZone’s expertise in building an engaged workforce, future seminars will focus on ForeSite’s position as technology experts and Filomeno & Company’s position as financial experts with relation to building a stronger engaged organization. Acting as a three-legged stool each company supports one another through the seminar series, speaking on each other’s topics as live case studies.
The three companies are all strategic partners of the MetroHartford alliance. Becoming a strategic partner was intended to give ForeSite the opportunity to understand the needs of the Hartford community, and to get more involved. Through this series, we are able to lend our expertise to the Metrohartford Alliance community.
