These do have themes as a starting point which can be enhanced by a designer that knows how to modify the style sheet for the theme. Why? Because, if you want searchers to find you, adding good quality content regularly is a MUST. Most custom designed sites require that the company request changes be made by the designer. So, if your goal is to provide a site for existing customers, no problem. If on the other hand you want to use SEO and other Inbound Marketing techniques to get found, you would be best served to make sure you can blog, add to and update your site, add landing pages, and code for the analytics of your choice because you must measure and adjust your marking plan in order to improve. Also, don't forget mobile. Make sure your site is viewable on mobile devices.
