Business Development Manager
ForeSite Technologies, Inc. has been providing high quality technology solutions designed to solve complex business issues since 1997. We focus on small to medium sized businesses that require the most efficient and effective use of technology to grow their organizations. Our services include Technology management, network and desktop design and support, application development for process automation, and web design and development. We are well positioned for significant growth in the coming years, and currently have an opening for a talented Business Development Manager.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing the sales plan for the organization to facilitate our aggressive, but controlled, growth targets. Duties in this position include, but are not limited to:
- Sales
- Maintain sales plan
- New lead generation
- Perform sales calls
- Perform customer needs assessments
- Work with technical staff to outline appropriate solutions
- Develop proposals
- Deliver proposals
- Close business
- Maintain strong client relationships
The successful candidate will possess the following requirements:
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, or technical discipline
- 3 - 5 years experience “exponentially” growing sales in IT services within the small to medium sized business market.
- Cradle to grave sales cycle experience
- Thorough knowledge of IT services as they relate to business needs.
- A highly entrepreneurial spirit … a “make it happen” attitude and approach.
- Must possess a high degree of intelligence, competence, maturity, adaptability, resilience, integrity and initiative.
- Clear, logical and persuasive communication skills with an ability to work closely with executives and employees at all levels.
- Excellent negotiating skills and attention to detail.
- Proven record of implementing marketing strategies to leverage the capabilities of an organization into new customers, identifying business opportunities in the IT arena, and leading the capture effort to win new business.
