Network Engineer

We are well positioned for significant growth in the coming years, and currently have an opening for a talented Network Engineer.

The Network Engineer will be responsible for providing high-quality, thorough technology solutions for both external clients as well as internal technology challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Technology planning and management for assigned customer portfolio. 
• Trouble shoot, diagnose, and solve customer network issues and make recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.
• Implement new technologies
• Management of routers, network switches, firewall configurations, and other enterprise level management software.
• Collaborate with network engineers, and other team members on the implementation, testing, deployment and integration of network systems.
• Maintain technical documentation assigned customers. 
• Assist in escalation and technical support as needed.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Computer Engineering, similar technology discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technology consulting role
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining:
  • Microsoft Small Business Server 2003, 2008, and 2011
  • Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems 2003 and 2008R2
  • Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, and 2010
  • Cisco routers and firewalls
  • Network routers and switches (Sonicwall / Foritgate /Cisco)
  • Dell and HP servers/desktops/laptops
  • Citrix, VMWare, a plus
• A highly entrepreneurial spirit … a “make it happen” attitude and approach.
